American author in the U.S., writing a book about a French film subject, is looking for a part-time researcher and translator to help with Paris-based reportorial work on the subject of the book. Must have some knowledge of contemporary French film history and research skills. Author will specify research areas and questions. Primarily what is required are library skills (along with a functioning Paris library card) and the ability to search and mediate available French electronic newspaper and magazine indices.
